This is the way the registration will work this year for the Commission on the Status of Women - CSW.
1. Each person is to register herself by following the instructions below.
CSW64 registration for NGOs in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) will be open from 9 October 2019 to 27 January 2020 online via the United Nations Indico registration system. Please click here to register for CSW64. Online registration is mandatory for all participants. We are not able to accept registrations by email. Registered representatives who have been approved by their organizations to attend CSW64 will receive a registration confirmation email. Representatives will need to print out and show their registration confirmation email as well as a valid UN Member State government issued identification in order to collect a UN grounds pass at CSW on-site check-in in March 2020. If any CWU sister has any difficulty registering, please let out National President know. Kindly keep in mind that each NGO can allow up to 20 participants only. 2. CWU Sisters - after you have successfully registered yourself, you are to notify CWU's National President, Patti Polk, to let her know that you have registered. It is very important that you let her know that you have registered, because she needs to know if the persons listed under CWU are actually CWU ladies. (There has been some confusion about other women (and men) using CWU's slots in the past) Therefore, if she does not recognize the name as a CWU person, she will not be able to approve your participation. Our National President's email address is ppolk@mail.com. CSW takes place inside the UN building and is the official meeting of representatives of governments. If you do not register for CSW you will not be able to enter the UN building for CSW.
